In my intro to philosophy religion class (which I love) I got the highest grade in the class on our first paper.

We chose the topic ourselves, the professor didn't have to approve it or anything. So yeah. I'm proud. What do you guys think?

Woo cool. Yeah, those stories are fucked up. God "was mortal" as Jesus - maybe that was his way of being like "Hey, all my experiments have been flawed thus far - I know! I'll essentially rape a woman to become mortal myself!" *becomes mortal* "Hmm, well first things first, maybe I shouldn't have just used Mary simply because I could... Wow, it's good to be Jesus!"

It's more fun to think of God as just another fallible character in the story.

Take any episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation with Q.

Or perhaps for those who want to be seen as less of a nerd and get to the message quicker; Futurama season four episode eight, Godfellas.

"Yes, I saw! You were doing well until everyone died."

(I initially said the episode was in season three because I didn't feel like checking my own collection and that's what Wikipedia told me. =[)
