That's called date rape at worst and shallow at best. As the representative of Matt Joneses in this community, I can confidently say that Jonesie doesn't want shallow hookups and if he were ever to date rape someone I, as his humble representative, would fucking kill him. You sound like a predator (I say that having heard predator interviews and, you know, having one in my family). I am not calling you a predator. I'm suggesting that you watch your language and, if necessary, adjust the attitude behind the words. Drunken submission is not consent. Also, Jonesie is respectable. He draws a boundary at drinking for his own reasons. He's not going to scrap that boundary because "girls are easier to get." He may tell offensive jokes but he's not a fucking asshole.

God damn, I am stupidly angry and should not have to confront objectification in one of my best friend's journals when I just wanted to respond to him. It will burn out.

I'm going to say this again: You have not fucked up with the girls you've liked. It is not your fault that they don't want a relationship (in general or with you). You already know that you can't make them say yes. You don't make them say no either. They make them say no.
