Meaning, games like Call of Duty 4 that cost $49,99 also cost €49,99.

What the hell!? When I read about Steam converting to Euros, I thought they would calculate the appropriate exchange rates. This is ridiculous and I will not buy anything from Steam until that system is changed. *joins group* I found Steam to buy an ideal way to buy games legally - I used to pirate games a lot more before I started to use Steam as a way of getting games. But like this? No way. They're screwing over the gamers who put their support in the industry (the same industry that everyone says is failing because of piracy).

This happens with most video game systems. It's almost as if the marketing people don't understand exchange rates, and only see "pretty numbers".

Oddly enough, this doesn't surprise me coming from Valve. I'm curious, can you still get the game from a physical store? (where it might be cheaper)
