My understanding of our contracts with Marvel mostly comes from our own press releases (let's face it, I'm a USF retail employee, not management), but we should see no changes in Marvel Superhero Island, the amount of retail space (10K sqft!), or the amount of advertising we do for the Marvel features. And although Dis can create a Marvel feature or a dozen west of the Mississippi should they take it into their pretty heads to do so, they can't do it on our side of the river. Let's face it - Disney needs something that isn't Camp Rock, or High School Musical, or Hannah Frickin' Montana to push to little boys and large ones. Marvel fits their empty spaces. It's not breakin' my heart - remember the animation in those old X-Men cartoons? Ick. Let Pixar do the next animated Marvel movie, see where that gets you. Management might not be thrilled, I dunno, but we're not really losing anything by the deal. And let's face it, we still beat out Disney for the Harry Potter contract.
