What the Fuck Have You Done Lately?

I just finally got around to sitting down, getting comfortable, cranking up the home theatre audio, and watching Wanted.

Anyone who didn't like this movie is deranged, and all the bleating comic fanboys who said they didn't like it need to get a life and quit expecting their comic movies to be rote transcriptions of their precious comic books.

No, but Angelina Jolie's beaver is.

That South Park episode suggested that Angelina Jolie's beaver is the last thing anyone would ever want to see in a movie.

It does have exploding rats, though.

I may be confused or misunderstanding, so I want to clarify things: you're saying that you think Angelina Jolie was hot, correct?

You sure? You seem a little ambivalent.

(I actually kinda didn't think she was that hot, mostly due to a couple of scenes where the camera angle made her wrists look like a starving African's, which just sort of squicked me.)

My only complaint with the film was the likability of the characters, or lack thereof. The main kid was an asshole before and after he figured out how to be awesome. The other people floating around him: about the same. Once again, the only person in the film playing somebody likable was Ms. Jolie.
