Dec 12, 2010 13:04

First off, I’d like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to everyone who entered the competition and/or voted to select the finalists for this year’s Meager Puddle of Limelight Award for Best Opening Line.

The Winners of the opening five rounds went through automatically, with the runners-up earning a second chance in round six.

Congratulations to the honorable mentions which made round six, but not the final:

“A zombie’s being born tonight, that’s why.”  Christine Lucas (aka silverwerecat )

One day Lilith came home to Eden for a visit. Renata Piper (aka lyonesse )

The monkey was mocking him. Barbara A. Barnett (aka babarnett )

What if the universe has a bottom?  Sue Dorman (aka cinda_cite )

Now it’s time to select the winner.
