Since I've been back at CC the music has been all mover the place. It also helps that J9 and Mike both don't stick to one particular era of music either.
Just a little LJ-stalk to say that I heard from limpid_sybarite that you played "Rebirth of the Cool." I happen to be of the opinion that that song is one of the greatest ever, and hearing it in a club is pretty rare these days (and hearing it at City Club even rarer), so a big ol' handful of kudos to you, sir. I'm definitely requesting it next time I'm there when you are (which will likely be pretty soon)!
I quit at the end of October. At the end of February I got laid off from WDET. Got hired at Guitar Center two weeks later, but I took a pay cut. In May I decided to call Sybil and see if I could start working at the club again. Week later I was back on Saturdays instead of Fridays every week. I didn't really want to go back, but there are worse ways to make extra cash.

in particular;
Modulate - Electronic Battle Weapon
Manufactura - Control.Domination.Response (MNFTR vs Caustic)
Prospero - Let The Planet Burn (feat. Battery Cage & Terrorfakt)
and Destroid too!!!
Modulate signed to Metropolis stateside btw. Infacted insisted User.dx do the art as well :\
what'd you think of the C/A/T?

I like Manufactura, but every Manufactura song I play showcases the flaws in City Club's soundsystem. Maybe it's my impression for the DJ booth.
It's cool that Modualte signed with Metro, but it blows you can't do the artwork. I bet user.dx has contract with Infacted to do all their album art.
I dig the C/A/T disc. I don't know if it's club material or not, but I've listening to it on my way to work all week.
