I haven't really updated in a while. I'm not even going to attempt cover everything that's happened since my last real entry(memes and club night plugs don't count as real entries). Basically I've been pretty stressed the last couple of weeks. Mainly the stress is do to money issues. As long as I can keep expenses down till the end of July I ( Read more... )

JZ's DJing on Wednesday now? Oh! Ack! I'll have to head up there for it! I had no idea.

I know it's not much help, but at least I can offer sympathy and an "I know how you feel." I've been in the same position now for the past two years, which is why I haven't gotten out much - even cover to get in the club is money I can't spend right now. I've been a ball of perpetual anxiety for quite awhile now because of it.

Any time you want to get out and do something free, let me know... we can find some way of blowing off some steam and keep our pocketbooks intact. I know that I still have some free bowling thingies for Wednesdays.

JZ was filling in for Abby who had the night off. It was a one night deal.

We totally need to use the those bowling passes. I was just mentioning that to Matt the other day.

My car is being dumb and saying it's low on coolant, but it doesn't appear to need anymore coolant. This is only annoying cause I don't have the cash to go get it looked at.

My previous car (the red Oldsmobile) had that same problem. Seriously, try smacking the side of it with something hard. I was told by a mechanic that on certain types of coolant resevoirs, when the coolant gets low the meter gets stuck at the bottom, and you have to smack it to dislodge it so it can float to the top of the new coolant. I had to do that every time I refilled the coolant.

I'll give that a try.

So...did smacking it work? And, if not, did it at least make you feel better?

BTW, I did mean smacking the resevoir, not smacking the car. Smacking the car might make you feel better, but is unlikely to actually be helpful. Shouting at the car, on the other hand...

smacking it didn't work. I'm borrowing money from Mom & Dad to get fixed.

Sorry to hear about the stress. I hope everything works out. I hope to see you guys in August, depending on your schedules.

When life gets stressy for you, just try to pick out a few positives.... for example, at least you're not 3,000+ miles away from the nearest White Castle. :-P
