PETA annoys me at the best of times (more so than other self-righteous militant campaign groups). But now they're getting just a little bit too close to home

That is shocking. They make it sound like autism is a nasty disease one can pick up, and that it can be prevented. I can imagine some parents of autistic children beating themselves up for giving their children cow's milk, and others depriving their child of any milk, after seeing that.
i fully agree with you here - likewise,i'm all for animal rights, have been since i was a kid,but not at the expense of "human rights" (which i'll explain a bit more in a mo*) or misleading people and using false shock tactics. in work we have an internal online forum and i've spent the last couple months arguing about euthanasia (not going there at moment :P) but in the discussion abortion laws got brought up. *now imho,it should be upto the person/people involved.and i maintain that people that don't agree have every right to not agree and show it,but where i do draw the line is when "pro-lifers" commit murder in that name - seen it before in the US where doctors or whoever that works in a clinic has been attacked and killed.how pro life is that? but to get back to your point,i agree, the ends most definately do NOT justify the means, the means are just as important.
Don't even know where to START my rant, so I wont. Suffice it to say it has pissed me off. But then PETA often do.
I'm all for animal rights but ever since the time they had my daughter screaming in the street after literally shoving their shocking images in front of her face one day (she was only 4 at the time), I have had a massive dislike for that bunch of nutters.
