WGT is looking increasingly unlikely. I CAN technically afford it, but it's a lot of money for what might ultimately be 3 bands (Megaherz, Eisbrecher and Die Form). How about Summer Darkness as a possible late summer fest (depending on line-up)? We're going, and as the festival is held in the city centre, it's a lot easier than M'era Luna to get to and from hotels! The main venue is only a 10 minute walk from my hotel! It's more of a break than M'era Luna, being a 4 day event, and Utrecht is a beautiful city (although Hildesheim has better schnitzel!)
