So far, the Minnesota summer has been going up and down all over the thermometer, and for at least a little while I'll enjoy a cool break from the punishing 100 degree days. Been home for a while now. Apparently a month ago was the last day of finals. It's hard to believe that I've not yet been home an entire month, because it certainly feels like I've been here for a long time. Shameful but understandable that I haven't updated in a while. From last post (end of spring break) until about today, I've had to plan out my day in minutes and would often be running late from everything to the next thing. The thing that always strikes me the most whenever I get home on a break is how my ears are ringing when I get to bed and I hear them so loudly in the absolute void silence. It's really amazing how quiet it is here and I would take that peace over loud fans and cars driving by any night of the week. After I get adjusted though, it's like living in ( Read more... )

Well this has certainly been a much better week than my weekend would have predicted. Last weekend a whole bunch of retarded and depressing crap happened, and it really put me in a poor mood.
