today i saw three articles on the same page about "How Bush Won the Election." i'm sick of hearing about "how bush did it." he didnt win because of strategic genious. he won because a bunch of warmonging, greedy, ignorant, religiously fanatical, scared people voted for him (besides baker, i guess hes an anomoly, maybe). i don't want to hear ( Read more... )

i guess hes an anomoly, maybe? jesus fucking christ! maybe its my fucking opinion! baker081186 November 4 2004, 21:40:38 UTC
hey man, i agree bush didnt do anything special. but he did win that election fair, there is no two ways around it.

and since its already out there...

yes i voted bush. no i am not a warmonging, greedy, ignorant, religiously fanatical, scared person. if you want to call me a fucking republican go ahead. I am a democrat, but i just didn't trust Kerry to do anything for our country. I didn't like him from the start.

and i'm fucking sick of people pointing me out because of the way i vote. IT IS MY OWN GOD DAMN BUISNESS!

i voted the way i did because i chose to, i do not need people relating my name to all your capitalist generalizations.

i don't own any fucking corporation, i do not practice any religion, i certainly am not out to make war and from my point of view i am definitley not ignorant.

and just because i voted bush does not mean i am condoning all of these things without understanding reprecussions that may follow. i know what may happen.

now. that is settled.and if you don't mind please keep the way i vote out of ( ... )

Hey Baker, John was just saying besides you so you WOULDN'T get offended by being categorized with all the things he said (like ignorant, etc.). At lease I thought that was why he excluded you, trying not to hurt your feelings, but I guess it back fired. Sorry John.

no its not just his fault, everyone is giving me shit. john just happened to be the one to push. i know he didn't mean it, so i plan on apologizing the next time i talk to him.

so until then, i'm sorry for flipping out, it isn't a big deal. i didn't mean to get all wound up over it.

yeah sorry about that man. i didnt mean that you were one of those people. i meant that you werent one of those guys that were ignorant. i respect your decision and thats why i excluded you from the said group. i respect everyone elses decision too but just not their motives. you are the first person that voted for bush that ive talked to that actually has a good argument. sorry for making you angry, i was trying to do the exact opposite with that sentence. i guess i said it wrong. so please accept my deepest apologies.

ill cya later man...

you must be nuts to think the republicans have no genius strategy.
you don't know how dirty politics really are.

Remember learning about the Nixon Administration, and watergate.

times haven't changed.

i don't think there was a complex strategy for this election. while there was some, namely a bashing fest from bush against kerry. and vice versa but that doesnt matter. the 2000 election WAS strategy and bush never should have been elected, which he wasnt, so i guess i should say, never inaugurated. this time however, i do believe those ignorant voters from the south and middle states voted for bush in the majority and that is how he won. he didnt have any strategy, it was just a bunch of ignorant people voting. NOW is where his dirty strategies come into play.
