>>I would have never imagined him to be so quiet and shy.<<

Just because someone is a musician doesn't necessarily change their personality, he's prolly just shy to begin with. And u r right, he could have had a bad day AND/or have been tired. I don't think i could have the energy to sit through a concert everyday, not to mention actually being the one up there performing.

I think we all have days where the last thing we want to do is interact with strangers, and jonny has to do that on a daily basis, so go easy on him.

When i met him he was super duper nice and nothing but smiles, we didn't say much to each other but that didn't take away from my experience any bit. Just be grateful you got the chance to meet him and have been touched by his music.

Hi! I know this post is old but I just found this site. I've met him. Back in January he played in Annapolis, this small venue about 20 min from where I live. I waited in line after the show and got to meet him & he signed my poster. He's very mellow it seems. I've heard that from several people. There is another Jonny web community that I've found in yahoo. The girl who runs it apparently meets up with him so often at concerts that he chats with her most times. Anyway, I got the same idea from her. I was not let down at all with his demeanor. I appreciated him being laid back. Tells ya he hasn't let everything go to his head. Seems very grounded.
