There ain't nuthin' wrong with havin an idol. It is no different than a role model in my opinion. It's someone you look up to for their accomplishments or inspires you to make yourself better or learn something new. Whoever says its a bad thing is just plain stupid.

Whats all this talk that Jonny's like ditching his band and stuff to go gospel? If it's true that ain't kool.

Maybe this makes me a bad person but in all honesty I don't know if I'd buy a gospel album by him. Plus if he'd tour to support this potential CD would he do his old stuff? If he wasn't going to do a lot of his old stuff I wouldn't go. When I want to be preached to, I go to church not to a concert. I guess I just feel that voicing one's religious and/or political beliefs is a good way to lose a ton of fans. It's just too much info ya know? That's just how I see it.

But if that's the way he chooses to go, good luck to him. I hope it works out.
