The running is in April. I'll be home until then, jogging around with kegs tied to my ankles in preparation. You should come ride alongside me in a Rascal.

you know...it's taken me over a week to answer this, but every time i came back to it i was too stunned to reply.

i just can't take the man seriously anymore! i think it's because he's still suffering from something like 30 years of teen angst. maybe it's just funny because i'm older, because i didn't think twice about lines like "please please please let me get what i want, lord knows it would be the first time" when i was 15 because i thought, "HE IS SPEAKING TO ME!" it's alright to sing about being unloveable and all of that when you're young, and definitely easier to stomach it when you're young. now i just think "oh, moz, you cock." and yet i know i'll still listen to the whole damn thing because i have that deep-rooted passion for him still. i blame the 80s entirely. i wonder if today's kids even take him seriously, though.

i hope jarvo's album is entirely in french.

And it's taken me a few days to come back and reply because I too, am stunned.

See, I'm terribly biased when it comes to the man so of course I'm going "oh yes, Moz, I feel your pain!" but you're right, you'd think he would've moved on by now. But he found his niche and he's sticking with it so god bless. I'm pretty sure kids these days only know him as an oft-cited influence to their favourite bands. Have you seen any of that Panic! At the Disco band's song titles? They put his to shame. It's taking idol worship to almost cartoonish heights.

I think I'd wet myself if Jarvo did a French album. With Vanessa Paradis.

It was a tragedy, mate. I was trying to roll the keg to my car so I could take it back, as you know how cheap I am and I wasn't about to lose my deposit. Anywhar, it started rolling down the driveway so I had to chase it and it ran over my toe going something like 60 mph. MY JOGGING DAYS ARE OVER!!! Hahaha Mike and the Mechanics, wot ze fuck??
