Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em ( Read more... )

Apparently, Xeeny just doesn't get the French thing. He accused me of rampant, subversive and insidious Francophobia just becase I may occasionally pass a comment or two bemoaning the latest indignities they have foisted upon us.

And just a point of minor note - isn't a nice Burgundy a product of France...?

A nice Burgundy is indeed a product of France, as is a Corsican Rosé and a Taittinger Champagne, but drinking said wines in France would be inadvisable.

Unless of course one was skiing at the time. That really would be the most fun you can have in France.

I actually quite like French people. But I couldn't eat a whole one. Too much garlic.

Ah, so in the true British colonial style, we exploit them for all there worth, strip the country of its resources, and then give it back to them to deal with the aftermath :-)

That's pretty much it, yes. I haven't had a quote on how much it'll cost to take the Alps (yes, all of them) and put them somewhere in southern England (Maybe Winchester) but I'm guessing we can club together.

They can keep Jean Michel Jarre.
