We're 2k into the film and there's no turning back. Sundance megalomania abounds while I wonder if I'll want my freshman summer back. I'm worried there are people I'll really want to see that I'm not going to. Every time I turn down an invitation to just hang out I get depressed. I wonder how much more distant everyone will be next summer. There

as a college student not going to the closest school to your home town, you have to be prepared to deal with distance even between the closest of friends. people you think are fool-proof relationship-wise often flutter in their own direction and you're left without them. but if you just make a phone call now and then, it really does make a difference (during set breaks or otherwise).

as for the shoot--best of luck. you'll be awesome. make it worth your while to not go to the hangs.
