I'm in the midst of a class called 310 that production students at USC fear for their whole time in college. On the one hand you get to shoot on film (as in celluloid) for the first time and make a short movie out of it with everything that an actual film goes through (picture lock in Avid, the industry standard for editing, sound edit in ProTools

I'm pretty sure you'll look back over Winter Break and be really proud of what you've done.

Have you heard of my friends Caitlin Richmond or Adam Bricker yet? They're both film transfers, so they had to start in the beginning stages, but I wasn't sure if you'd met them or heard of them. I'm a fan.

I'll be in by the 14th of December and probably gone again by January 9th, and I'll be ready to do a lot of nothing. Can't wait to see you and hear what you've been up to. Our hang time this summer was tragically spare.
