About a week ago, my wife and I attended a conference with my eight year-old son's Target teacher. Target is a one day a week class for the smart kids, theoretically. I appreciate that you guys are trying to be charitable to this teacher, but she sounds dumb. Public school teachers have enough opportunities (read: mandatory) professional development for her to learn how to teach all kinds of children of normal intelligence and above, especially if the child has a stable home environment and involved parents. This is the sort of thing that pisses ST off to no end, given the conditions he has to deal with.

Morgan is past the charitable thing, I am patient to a fault. At this point, I'm ready to write off public school entirely, at least for a few years.
