I need a scorpion!

You knew this was coming, didn't you? It's time for my massive "holy crap guys omgomg i saw yatterman asdkfklalsdf!!1!2" entry. :D I'll try not to spoil the movie because most of you haven't seen it. But there's still enough fangirl squeeing and rambling under the cut. (It's your last chance to run away!)

So, yesterday evening I left to Helsinki with sinivaan and rudveesa. The movie started at 11 p.m. but we were at the movie theater already at half past nine. At ten o'clock we met kanesu and tiusan whom me and Sini had met before at the finn_arashi meet. We had a great time before the movie started. We could've sat around that small table for hours just talking about Arashi. 8D

People started to gather in the theater about half past ten. There were more people than I thought there would be, I was surprised. I'm bad at estimating the numbers but I'm guessing 200-300 people. (Correct me if I'm wrong!) I guess Takashi Miike and the original anime have fans in Finland too. There weren't many girls in the audience, mostly geeky otaku guys. We went early to queue in front of the doors because the tickets didn't have seat numbers and we of course wanted the best seats to watch Sho the movie. We got great seats right in the middle of the theater.

At 11 p.m. the theater went dark and the film started playing. Okay, first there were some commercials of other movies shown at Helsinki International Film Festival. Half of the audience, including me, were holding their breath when they showed us the trailer of Ponyo. We breathed a collective sigh of relief and started laughing when the trailer ended. (This had NOTHING to do with Yatterman but please, watch the trailer. The song is annoyingly cute and catchy. XD)

So, then we sat 111 minutes in our seats watching Yatterman. :D The movie wasn't anything I thought it would be! I thought it would be be a meaningless silly action film for kids but I couldn't have been been more wrong. Yes, it was a meaningless silly action film BUT NOT FOR KIDS. 8D It was made for perverted nerd guys and fangirls, I'm serious! I should've seen this coming when I saw pictures of the main villain, Doronjo. If I'm being objective, it was like watching Pokémon/Transformers/Scary Movie crossover. And I must confess I still liked it. It was really fun in that facepalm sort of way. 8D; Yatterman was pure crack, people!

There were three scenes in Yatterman which were totally epic.
First one: "Sho" made cartwheels and backflips. XD It was a pretty lonely feeling when the five of us giggled and were like "oh, Sho had a stunt actor".
Second one: The scorpion scene. OMG SHO. I'm not going to say anything more. Just watch the film as soon as someone rips it, okay? 8D
Third one: This doesn't include Sho. I'm a huge fan of theme songs and the Doronbo Gang's song was cool and I love it. XD I found it on YT, clickclickclick. It was even more awesome in the movie but the television performance is fun too. Maybe I have a thing for pretty girls doing stupid dance moves. *coughgeecough*

When the movie ended and Believe started playing, I felt so proud to be an Arashi fangirl. 8D The audience gave applause to the movie when the credits ended, it was awesome. After the movie we had a little time to flail and fangirl before Ruusa's mom came to pick us up. It was about two a.m. when I finally were home and went to sleep.

The Friday night was great, thank you, girls! :D Let's do the Yatterman dance in the next meet!

Mom dragged me and my brother to see my grandmother and aunt today. I had to install an antivirus program and other stuff in my aunt's new computer. I hate how hard everything is on Windows computers compared to Macs. Macs don't even NEED antivirus programs!

I bought a new DVD today. It's a Chinese movie called Lust, Caution. It had a pretty cover (which is of course different than the one in the Wikipedia article) so I thought I could give it a try. IT HAS SEX SCENES, I HEARD. 8D I'm so immature.

I have exams for the next two weeks. The first ones are religion, maths (logic and number theory) and Finnish which means that I have one week left to read Lolita and The Unknown Soldier, write an essay of hidden ideologies in news articles, study the history of Christianity and try to understand how in Earth one proves that if n is an integer, n(n-10)(n+1)^2 can be divided by 12. No pressure.

school makes me think, arashi, bad is the new good, something totally awesome
