I miss knowledge bowl. I miss college bowl too. It saddens me that now that I'm out of school the only academic competition I can expect is the mishmash they dish out at pubs.

I've been thinking about this for awhile, and there's no reason we can't have knowledge bowl for grownups. Therefore I'm forming a league of my own. I've talked this idea

Eee. I am both tantalized by and fearful of your Knowledge Underground. Judging from the questions you gave for Geography I'd say I don't measure up in any categories. But maybe I could just pick a specialization and train up?

I suppose I have read a fair range of ancient myths, but I do it more for the 'builds character' benefit rather than the readily retrievable obscure knowledge. (Useful or otherwise.)

I may have access to question packets for you - my dad coaches Knowledge Bowl at my old high school, and would be gleeful at the idea of spreading the love.

That would be super-awesome. All I've got is a bunch of quiz-bowl questions (albeit TONS of those), and they aren't really optimized for knowledge bowl.

I've wanted to walk over to Bishop Blanchet for awhile and see if they need somebody to help with knowledge bowl, but I don't want to make that sort of commitment until my schedule is a bit more settled.
