We're closing Henry IV in a few hours. This one I'm going to miss. It's a three-hour epic with swords, drunken revelry, wounds, and some terrific cast members. Here's a quote from the centuries-old script that seems so appropriate still:

"Many a man had been alive today if, like a Christian, you had borne between our armies true intelligence."

Friday - Finished painting the fifth coat of paint in my new bedroom to cover the red that was. Opened Henry IV. Great opening night reception after. Tripped while fleeing up the stairs during the battle scene, still got a huge bruise on my leg. Managed to not get piked too badly. I don't care who you're going to vote for, insisting on referring to Barack Obama as "Barack Hussein Obama" is a perverse fear tactic that wouldn't even have a place on an elementary schoolyard.
