I first saw nipples on manequins when I went to England.*
It makes sense. Women want to know whether or not their nipples will be prominent in that shirt or bra or whatever when they're cold or excited.

*I also saw nipples in public advertisements there, but that's a different matter.

The last time I passed through a high-end shopping district (on my way to cheap italian food) all of the mannequins had clearly deliniated rib cages and collar bones. *shudder* Seriously, thier ribs stuck out more than thier breasts did (nips and all). They looked like weird quadruple-(Acup)breasted Star Wars whores or something. It was very creepy evidence of how obsessed with thinness our culture is getting.
