GRRRRR!

Civ 4 is a very fun game. However, it's been crashing to desktop with alarming frequency. I had to update my graphic drivers to get the movies to play, that wasn't a problem. But crashing to desktop every two or so turns is damn annoying.

I picked up a copy of Battle of Britain II recently; and am having the same problem. Fly a mission, maybe two; CTD time. Quite tedious, really.

Civ is so new, that the patch they have out just isn't cutting it. I'm really getting frustrated though.

Does the patch for Battle of Britain II help at all?

A bit; it used to crash to desktop reliably at the end of the first mission... a very unstable game.
