Izzy and I actually found 2 copies of FF2 in a mall in Durham, but there was no way I was going to drop $40 right there.

I also remembered something I forgot to say a while ago. It's a good thing you didn't buy it in Europe because then you would have to get a European PS2.

Oh wow, I'm glad I didn't buy it then. We never thought they'd be different, I guess because we could use the computer games we got from there, but that's something different entirely.

Holy crap, I can't believe you found two copies. Yeah, I'm pretty much not allowed to spend money...ever again.

Yeah, otherwise I'd be all about getting the Japanese versions. It's the same for DVDs. I think it's pretty lame. Zones!
