We just brought the kitty home about an hour ago. She immediately dashed under the bed because six people were staring at her, and tried scratching the carpet. Fortunately, after using my deep voice to say no the first three times she attempted, she's stopped. She came out to cuddle and checked out the room, found her litter box and her food, then
