So, It was been brought to my attention that i have no posted about my camping trip in Idaho. So here it is:
Me and Mike left last wednesday morning at 4 to begin our trip to Priest Lake Idaho. So we're goin and we get just outside of Vantige and we get pulled over. Apparently the "keep right except to pass" is an actual law and not just some crazy saying that our parents came up with. NO, we didn't get a ticket But it was a great rush to wake up from a good nap to see flashing lights right behind you!! so anyways the cop lets us go with a warning and so we're on our way again and Mike starts dozing off and swerving into the left lane and finaly comes to his sences that HEY, HE'S TIRED and so it's my turn to drive =) So wer're cruzin at an average speed of 85mph (yes, Mikes car can get up to 85mph). So, i'm drivin along and I have to pee so i pull over and mike decides it's his turn to drive again after only an hour of sleep after being up for like 40 hours the day before?? so regardless we get to Priese Lake (in 6.5 hours), And we set up our camp and go to sleep, it was great. Mike borrowed a 3-4 person tent from his dad and I had a 6-8 person tent from Dana. So, the beach was great white sand and clear water and the forest was awesome. didn't see much wild life except a moose and a bunch of chipmunks, I did hear a bear though so that was exciting. The weather was nothing but strange, while me and mike was there is rained one day and then as soon as the students got there it was nonstop thunder and lightning the whole time!!! the only day it didn't rain was the day we left! how odd is that? but besides the fact that every single tent leaked and the daily 40 mile round trip to the laundrymat to get clothes dried and what not everyone had a really good time. Paul spoke briefly acouple nights on relationships and how to be more then just aquantences and to actualy become a good friend. So, i guess your probably wondering when Ashley comes into the picture.
So when there is only 15 kids you get to know them pury good. So when we're packin up gettin ready to go they ask the students to ride back in the same car the arrived in and i wanted to ride with my dad cause me and Mike got alittle burnt out of eachother and it just so happends that Ashley rode with my dad so in the truck it was my dad Vic Borys Ashley and myself. so we just got to talkin more and more on the way home and you know where we're at so far. and that is the Priest Lake camping trip.
