I can't believe that the fall semester starts this Monday. I feel like vacation was extremely long, at least until these last two weeks. Now it's a couple days before school starts, and I still have a lot to finish. Gotta buy some last minute school supplies, have to clean up the mess in front of the house, and... Hey mathafacka!

How was your first day at SDSU? Did you get beat up for being a freshman? Did you fall for a girl from afar and decide to impress her by joining a fraternity full of guys who don't like you but by the end of the semester will end up being your closest friends while a cheesy 80's soundtrack plays in the background?
Will wacky hijinks ensue? Will they?

I didn't hear anything from The Breakfast Club soundtrack, so I guess my first day wasn't that memorable ;) I am somewhat intimidated by Japanese class, but I'm studying my ass off to catch up (and maybe surpass) the others. I gotta take the JPN proficiency test next week too, bleh... ruins my 3 day weekend!

I did see a group of dumb white dudes on the trolley ride home though. Apparently they had no clue how to stand while the trolley is in motion, and kept flopping all over the place. Lovely. Also, it took 40 minutes for a trolley to arrive at the SDSU transit center.

Annnnddd... it was really hot today. I felt like I was melting during the trips between classrooms.

Temperatures at State can get absolutely hideous! It's about as inland at SWC...but a little further north so if we're in the 80's down here, you're getting closer to the 90's. *pity hug* :p

Do your best on the proficiency test...but if you don't know a kanji...it might be best to just leave it blank instead of doing what I did and just went for a guess anyway. It made it so...well, YOU know what I had to go through... :( So make sure that you just fill out what you know so they can properly place you.
