Oh I do like the angsty backstory (I think I'd thought of Lester as Becker's godfather but I like this esp the explanation of Lester's prev military history which I think fits in really well with current canon, I could totally see Lester having a past like that.)

I do hope Connor forgives them.

Thank you! I've thought of Lester being ex-military since season 2. The way he handled the gun and that he didn't flinch when Leek was killed always made me think he had seen action.
