Twitter story

Twitter was sad so I suggested people DM a random sentence or quote from anywhere any whom, and I’d put them together in a story. All the speech is the sentences I received, held incredibly loosely together by bits I’ve added. It’s nonsense. Oh and I own none of it blah blah.

A man and a woman sit alone on a bench, watching the world go by. They don’t often get time together to talk, to just be friends, so they make the best of it.

"You must spend a lot of time on your knees; we know Captain Harkness appreciates a well polished knob." she says, a smile creeping onto her face.

"I hear voices and they don't like you." he retorts.

"Big girls don't cry."

He pauses, thoughtfully. “There is madness in his eyes and sadness in his soul.”

"Well, it's the thought that counts." she grins and receives a sideways look in reply.

“In America sex is an obsession, in other parts of the world it is a fact.” he says as if it’s a defence.

“Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination.” It’s her way of agreeing.

“The light burns bright through the storm of the night, like our hope.”

"Every little thing she does is magic…" She stops, interrupted by something she sees in the distance. “Sir, that is NOT the approved use for that!”

He sighs. “Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to work we go!"

"Not tonight, dear, I have a headache."

Exchanging a smile that shows the pair in fact far from mind this interruption, they are off and running.

god knows what i should tag this under
