Hi all.

I know I'm not around as much these days but I definitely couldn't resist popping back to take part in the wonderful Drunken!Giles-athon hosted as usual by the lovely lostgirlslair.

So cute and funny. I like the idea of these two sitting around drinking and watching "Wizard of Oz". And Spike's story about going to the theater to see it rings true for both his character & Dru's. Nicely done!

Thanks very much, I'm glad you liked it and thought it captured the idea of what would appeal to them both. I bet Spike was gutted that there was no 'exciting' hanging scene to watch though, lol.

Thank you so much! Definitely fits the bill (Vimto and bourbon? *shudder*) and such a funny image of the two warbling along together to the whole film! I'd say sheepish memories are a certainty after that lot...

Oh I'm so glad that you liked it. I was a bit unsure if you would prefer slash or het, but it turned out to be gen so it wasn't a problem in the end, lol. Yes the drink combo was vile wasn't it - purple booze just doesn't seem right *g*. Just picturing the two of them getting more drunk and more vocal was such fun.

Thanks for the prompts, I enjoyed writing it.

I had to look up Vimto, and oh man, that's SO GROSS! Giles must have been drunk to be wasting good bourbon by mixing it with th-- Oh. Right. He was drunk! Fun!

*giggles* Yes, it's just a vile image isn't it. Vimto can be a still cordial or a sparkling fizzy drink and I couldn't decide which would be worse!!
