Poll - Video Game Ethics

Hallo everybody!

Here's the deal:

I used to play World of Warcraft. I sold my account on eBay (an action which is not condoned by Blizzard since the account is actually their property and not yours, and which is not guaranteed by eBay, because it is not a physical object).

For these game accounts, there is a variety of information which makes the account "yours". These items include email address, phone number, and the "Secret Question" which some of you might be familiar with. If you lose or forget the account information, you can usually call the tech support line, provide this information, and tech support will provide you with your password, etc. My call to Blizzard led me to believe you only need to know the SQ+A, and either the email address or phone number.

SO! I sold the account in the beginning of October. As of last week, I still receive emails on the email account linked to the account. This means that the buyer never called tech support to CHANGE the information to something I wouldn't know. I called Blizzard, verified all the information, and was given a password reset (to my email address), which basically gives me control of the account.

As it stands, I have complete lockdown on this account. If he emails me about it, I think I'll give it back and tell him to "change the fucking info". If he doesn't, well... I'm not sure. It's his fault he never changed it (which for people who aren't familiar, is the FIRST thing you are supposed to do when you buy an account).

Should I give it back anyway? You know, be the nice guy, teach him the error of his ways~

OR

Make sure he learns the hard way, and revel in my underhanded bastardness?

IMPORTANT NOTE: It seems as if the person who bought it from me is attempting to sell it again on eBay. It is a 10 day auction, with 2 days left, and zero bids. This means I reclaimed it mid-auction. If he gets a bid and sells, he will be in a bit of trouble when the information he provided is incorrect.
