I personally don't think it would narcissistic to post your own artwork on your walls. I have done it with my own artwork many times and for good reasons:
1. It's way cheaper than purchasing someone else's artwork.
2. It's original and much cooler than prints.
3. It's something in which you should take pride. If hanging your artwork in your home encourages and inspires you to continue creating more artwork, then it's all good.

Reasons not to hang your artwork:
1. If you get caught up in what you used to do instead of concentrating on what new things you could be doing.

Funny, I could only think of ONE reason not to hang your artwork. :D There you go.
