Also how does one skid to a stop without brakes? Do you use your feet?

I ride a fixed gear bike. If you pedal backwards the rear wheel moves backwards. By locking your knees you can stop the rear wheel and skid around.

Lately when I've been feeling angry I head downtown to fight with traffic. Swerving around and hopping curbs, smiling while people turn to watch the silly little girl on a bike challenging the metro is an unbeatable feeling.

I haven't found gloves I really love yet.
