Based on the twenty-three inches of snow now carpeting the lawn, I daresay we might actually have a white Christmas this year. :)

welp, 23 inches? here in britain we have about half an inch and the entire transport industry has already staggered to a halt. embarrassing.

That sounds typical of Britain, especially London. I lived there for a short while and the only thing we ever got during the winter was a light, occasional rain. I hope the traffic has diminished by now!

london transport in any kind of bad weather is atrocious. last year i got snowed into my flat for three days because there literally wasn't any transport. we had maybe two inches of snow. bloody ridiculous. thankfully i'm back at home for christmas so i've just not been out of the house for days!

I can't tell you how excited I am for this. It's like the time there was a hurricane warning and school was cancelled on my birthday. :)

You know, it might have been Floyd. The timeframe sounds about right. How awful that you were still forced to work the RennFaire! I can't believe visitors still showed up.

Thank you! *HUGS back* I wish you a much warmer, less windy next few days. (And then I'll be arriving on the 28th! :)

I'm sure it's snowed in Normal already? You are probably getting sick of the cold.

Seriously. I can't count the times it has RAINED on Christmas. So depressing. This year I was planning on tacking white bumps of construction paper on the windows. Hooray, my emergency plan is unnecessary! :D

And yay, Snoopy Christmas! I love that movie.

I think you will -- they forecasted snow in DC for Friday, I don't see why it shouldn't extend up to Baltimore you lucky girl!

Oh, I'm well shot of snow for now! I hope it doesn't rain on actual Christmas. I just want this snow to stay around!
