...Cuba, a country which has also committed terrorist acts against the United States of America...

not just in olden times, but no later than this May they agreed to re-open Cuban spy base with Russia. And he rewarded them!

Sorry for off-topic, but I am reading Miami blog written by Cuban-Americans (filled with outrage, naturally) and couldn't help noting.

As to "Interview" and Obama's posturing di jure response, I think my friend is right to mention another apt book on the subject of North Korean dictatorship: Michael Malice's "Dear Reader".

As I said, I can name 40 countries worse than Cuba in 2014 and a hundred countries, that were, at one time or another, between 1959 and 2014, worse than Cuba.

So, is Vox Day a terrorist? Or the rest of Gamergate?

Your first statement is untrue with regards to the characteristic of promoting international terrorism between 1959 and 2014. You might be right in terms of 2014, only because Cuba has been more restrained in her aggressions since the fall of the Soviet Empire in 1989-91.

The answer to the questions in the second paragraph is "no" to both. Neither Vox Day nor Gamergate have committed any terrorist acts, unlike Cuba, and Gamergate isn't even an organization.

Oh, because Ethiopia keeps its oppressiveness to itself, that's all right, then?

Why is it terrorism when "North Koreans" reveal details about Sony Pictures executives but it's fine when Gamergate finds out where Zoe Quinn lives based on pictures or when Vox Day posts Nina's phone number on his blog?

From the point of view of other Powers, YES. Ethiopia oppressing its own people (assuming that she does) is not particularly our concern, because we are not sovereign over Ethiopia. If Ethiopia sent over teams to bomb Boston, it would be our concern, because we are sovereign over Boston.

If it makes you feel better, we could make an exception for Marshfield, MA.

Because the former was accomplished by illegal means (hacking into systems they did not have permission to go, which is a felony, Mr. Andrew ("Bubba's future girlfriend") P. Marston, and was accompanied by destruction of data, Mr. Andrew ("Bubba's long-term future girlfriend, which is even more illegal. In contrast, the individuals who posted on the Zoe Quinn sexual-favors ( ... )

That is illegal, if true. However, Vox has absoutely no control over his "followers" -- unlike the vile Kim Jong Un, he can't do their families to death if they displease him.

I'm sure Obama has dashed off a strongly worded note to Kim Jung Un voicing his displeasure.
