As a Wisconsin native, I’m used to squinty-eyed white Midwestern suspicion. But since we stood several hundred feet from a lot of guns and I figured the guys were probably armed, my feet froze.

It's been a long time since I've seen someone so obviously suffering from a case of the vapors in print ... I had to laugh at that, while at the same shake my head in pity.

It's also been a long time since I've seen someone so blatantly racist actually put that down in print as well. She definitely went in with preconceived notions, and because she refused to acknowledge that to herself, she learned absolutely nothing - nothing about others, but especially nothing about herself.
