Stefan called. Interesting conversation if I do say so myself. Interesting and awkward. He got some kind of message from Maddie telling him to not leave Taffy alone. Wow, I don't even remember knocking. When did I do that? Oh well, she opened the door and she doesn't look exactly like she wants me to turn right around and go away, but she does look sorta confused. I'm not exactly sure. "Hi?" I offer, not knowing what to do. I miss her. Are we on a hugging basis? I can't remember.

I suddenly feel really awful. Like a huge jerk. "Sure." I say, stepping through the doorway. It'd be stupid to ask how she is. Made that mistake before. For now I'm quiet. This may be more awkward than it should be. Or it could be awkward enough.

My voice is calm now. "Hey Taf? I'd like us to be back to us without anyone else, you know? Can't we do it that way? I know you really think this thing with Stef and I would work out but I'm just not feeling it and wait did you just say Stefan likes me?" Not so calm anymore. But not mad. Just...surprised. Um, wow. No, I didn't see it. I was kinda busy sitting around and wondering when my life was going to get back together. "It wouldn't work. Stef's my friend, I don't see him like that. It's um, nice I guess? That he'd be interested? But I wouldn't..." Be with him. I don't want to be with him. Can't you see that?
