This can't be happening. I just got back, things were fine again. We were together and then she just...faded away. Out of thin air, leaving me just sitting there on her couch looking dumbfounded

I'm cleanin' up the trash pit that's my apartment when there's a knock on my door. "Just a sec," I holler as I dump some shit in the kitchen trash can. Going over to the door, I pull it open.
I'm pretty sure I'd been holding my breath as I waited for him to open the door. If he wasn't here I don't know who else I could go to. "Stef," I say urgently. "She's gone."
I put my hand on the frame of the door. "I don't know. We were sitting on the couch, she was right there, and then she just..." I take a deep breath. "Vanished. Magick, you think? Her own?" I'm really not that great in the supernatural department, maybe he can figure this out.
I seat myself on the arm of the couch and think about if I should say what I'm thinkin'. I stare at Jordan's lowered head for a few seconds and then say, "Ya know... I gotta wonder if Heather didn't have somethin' to do with this -- whatever it is."
I've thought and thought about it and I can't figure out why else she'd disappear.
"There's nothin' else that makes sense." Silence stretches between us, and I listen to the air in the room. No sign of her, no resonance. She's not here. I think I knew that already.
I try to calm down, focusing on Taffy and where the hell she is instead. I recline to lean back on the couch and turn my head to look at him. What do we do now? "Well, we know who caused this...should we go find her? Or at least find someone else that knows about magick?"

"Jordan. What's up?" I ask. He looks perturbed.
