Okay but c'mon, the girl said that she wanted Stef and I to...be together or something. That whole thing was weird enough. I like women - one in particular and how can she not understand that I only want to be with her. She thinks the whole thing can be fixed by a little guy on guy tlc? I just...what?

After thinkin' about it for a long time, I pick up the phone. And put it down again. And get the phone book to look up Jordan's number. Finally, I've wasted all the time I can, and I dial the number and wait, listenin' to it ring in my ear. Maybe he won't be home...

The phone's ringin, and I don't like it so much. Didn't realize how noisy that thing was anyway. I slowly raise my face from out of my pillow and grumble just a little bit before wondering if Jenny's actually going to pick the damn thing up. It keeps ringing, guess not. She's probably not home. With a sigh I stumble out of bed and make my way across the room to slowly pick the phone up and bring it to my ear. "Hello?"

He sounds like crap. Well how else did I expect him to sound, really? I sigh and say, "Jor? It's Stef." Hope he doesn't hang up on me or somethin'. The weirdness from the other night was... massively weird.

Just for a second am I tempted to put the phone down. But it's already too late, he's heard my voice. He'll know. "Stefan." My voice has a raspy sound to it that I don't like. I try to clear my throat. "Hey."

"Taffy did a spell to make herself get over what happened," I say. "That's why she's actin' so freakin' weird and wanting to like, share you with me." I can feel my cheeks color and I'm glad I decided to call him instead of goin' over. "Maddie said Taf thought we were givin' her an ultimatum that she had to be okay or we were both gonna leave." My voice reflects my frustration. "I wasn't givin' her an ultimatum. Were you?"

I don't know what to say. My mouth isn't forming words. It's all my fault. "I..." I have to fix this. "I told her what I told you. That I couldn't be here if she wasn't...if we didn't-" That's about all I can get out for the time being.

"We both need to work on our communication skills, dude," I tell him, "'cause she thought we meant right away, I guess." He's gonna go off and do something nuts...I just know it. I thought I was unstable sometimes.

"Look, Jor... Maddie couldn't tell me specifically what we had to do to fix this. She just said to be sure we don't leave her alone."

I think I told her I wouldn't leave until she told me what she wanted to do. I guess it wasn't enough. Like she didn't believe me. "So we just...have to convince her? Stef, we go back over there and she's gonna go send us on a date or something." I say, biting my lip a little harder. I can't be making this much easier, bringing up uncomfortable stuff. I'm great at that now. Making everything worse. Sigh.
