Yuki the Technicorn (Last Unicorn Doodle of 2015)

A year isn't complete if I haven't drawn a unicorn. However, for various reasons, I've hardly drawn anything this year. I'm barely getting this in under the wire, but here we go: an anthropomorphic unicorn-ish creature with L33T H4XX0RZ SK1LLZ and floating holo-interface thingies with no apparent projection source. Why? Because. I have no particular story or setting in mind.

(Oh, I've got fragments, but even if I were to put those down in writing, a complete story they would not make.)

I actually can't remember my complete resolution list from last New Year's, but I'm pretty sure I haven't done much of it at all. Write some, draw some, sculpt some. I've done lots of writing, but it hasn't been STORIES. I've done some drawing, but it's mostly been for WORK. I've done a petty amount of sculpting work, but it's just been detail work on kitbashes, and most of those minis have just been hastily slapped together with minimal painting, not worthy of posting a picture for "show-and-tell" except under the lame pretense that it's a "Work in Progress" and therefore the implication being that sometime later on, I'll do a PROPER job of finishing it up and then sharing the results. However, I have far more "works in progress" than finished items -- that's for sure.

But enough gloom. The weird thing is, managing to guilt myself into actually drawing something (It's the last day of the year, and you've drawn no unicorns! It's a TRADITION!) feels like an accomplishment. I'll take what I can get. Maybe next year will be better. (Thanks to this year, I've set a low bar.)
