I enjoyed the "Tomorrowland" movie, yes. I think I can see why it didn't fare so well, though: the mood just felt a little uneven. Was it supposed to be whimsical or dark? We have baddies who are kind of kooky ... and then vaporizing police officers and guards and random bystanders who are in the wrong place at the wrong time. I could see a TV miniseries getting away with mood shifts like that -- or maybe an RPG session -- but for a Disney movie, it just felt off in that regard.
I still enjoyed it. I just felt as if the writers had quite possibly two or more directions they'd wanted to go in, and compromised badly.
