All week in class a word that has been continuously popping up is the word change. Although it is something I dislike I am trying my hardest to adjust to it. Then I realized from the start of the movie to the end each character had some kind of change. It seemed everyone changed for the better. Haha, I like the very last sentence. Great analysis of each character. I bet your paper is going to be great. Good luck on further analysis! Oh and by the way it's Karen Eiffel not "Ifal":)

I agree with you jordar3, change is not always a bad thing. The death of hitler, a change, brought his end of tyranny in Europe. The atomic bomb, a change, though maybe an unecessary one, brought Japan to surrender. However, change is a pendulum. Don't change too much because you may end up too far on the other side.

I agree mostly, except that i'm pretty sure Harold didn't know they were going to fall in love, and that whether or not it happened would determine if the story were a comedy or a tragedy. Also, professor Hilbert was disinterested in helping Harold until he mentioned that the narrator said "little did he know". I agree that Karen was a somewhat negative person, but you could argue that despite her negativity and solemn outlook on life, the books she writes end up affecting people in very positive ways.
