Oringally i am from Pine Bluff Arkansas and when moving here the words T.A.A.S. test scared me. It was hard for me to adapt to such a test that was desinged to confuse you. Wow, that's pretty cool Jordan. I remember taking notes in the margin for TAKS as well. I really started doing that in the eighth grade after my teacher taught the method to us. After I started using the it, I did so much better and got commendable scores in English every year after that.

This is probably the best to study for any book. I am not used to be writing notes all the time while reading but it is good that you learned that when you were younger.

I am glad that works out for you so well. I do not agree with the note taking as sometimes it distracts me when I am reading a story, and I end up forgetting what I read faster, but I could understand how that would help one to remember the story. Taking notes makes one actually think about the text when they write it down.

Haha, I gotta agree with Laxguru. Its pretty cool that, that has helped you better remember what you have read. But at the same time I agree with Mmcneal2 because if I concentrate too much on what I should be writing next well that just ends uo making me forget what I had just read. But glad its worked out for you.
