Okay, I packed up the entire kitchen today except for a little food (well everything thats refridgerated) that we may be needing between now and the move, and enough cups, plates, spoons, forks for all of us. So now I still have to pack the bedrooms and the competer and stuff like that. If anyone is interested in understanding how big of a feat ( Read more... )

imagine moving twice within 7months of eachother! It's horrible. But yeah, the place is bigger, and it has a backyard, another plus.

I just finished going through that, luckily. We had lots of sippy cups and baby bowls etc... I don't even use them yet and have no idea where they came from.

it's not too bad moving, if you're organized and don't have too much misc. stuff... I'm feeling pretty settled in already, and hope you can say the same very soon!

Moving with twins is not easy, but I am sure you will get through it ok too. :)

hah, I had two baby showers before the boys were born, and I was amazed by how many cups and stuff like that I got! They have way too many for just two little boys, especially considering they can only use one at a time!

We actually moved a few months ago, so this would be our second move...it's horrible. As much as I want to try to be free from my parents which one of the reasons we moved the first time, I still feel like I'm taking advantage since they will be helping us pay for it for the first couple months. We just got settled and now we're on the move again...

When you moved, what did you do with your girls? Did you let them stay with family for the day or watch them yourself or what? We'll probably just leave the boys with some family for a few hours.

Well, it was a little complicated for us since we were moving across the state 93 hours one way). My Mom stayed with them in our old apartment while we loaded the truck and kept them busy with a few toys and books. Then, we drove them up and took turns watching them while unloading the truck. There were four of us here, so it wasn't too bad. Micah took the next day off so I could unpack.

I know! In this place, they take up a whole shelf just for the cups lids and straws.

No, we kept them all. Mainly because Caleb and Andyn have a knack for losing them in sofas or cars or parks!

wow! So, if I were living there, I'd only have 6! Most of these were baby shower gifts way back when, so I kept them not realizing we had so many..
