I'm so stupid. I was so close to getting Avenue Q tickets for my parents for when they come this weekend--not sure if my dad would have appreciated that since he never seems happy about going to shows, but he's never enthusiastic about anything and I'm sure he appreciate a good AIDs joke as much as the next guy. but I was sitting over here ( Read more... )

I probably would have done the same...I hate convenience charges! I'm sorry to hear you could only get one ticket, though...Is it a one-day-only show, or is there a chance you could just get her tickets for a later date as a "belated" gift?

apparently the ticket system was being temperamental, so of course it was a major overreaction. :[ I wanted to get two so it could double as a birthday gift for my dad, and they're only going to be here Saturday night because they're coming in to move all my shit back home. and my school has ridiculously low prices for Broadway shows so I was excited that there were so many lovely coincidences, and then annoyed when it looked like it wouldn't work. but yeah something was probably wonky with the system and I gots the tickets. MY LIFE IS SO HARD. D:

ahhh haha yeah I think things just get magnified in horribleness when it's early in the morning and I've just woken up, it really wasn't thaaaat big of a deal. especially since I tried later and it magically worked this time. :3
