today, I woke up with a start about ten minutes after I went to bed at around 6:30 am, and got terrified for a good three seconds because I thought my roommate's chair was going to eat me. I don't like how symbolic my birthday is this year.

for some reason, I forgot that pre-gaming also applies to nights when you just go to bars. I thought it was only for when you go dancing so you don't have to worry about creepy guys putting roofies in your rum and coke when Single Ladies comes on. -

the other day I met someone who was probably at the Streetlight Manifesto/Big D and the Kids Table show that we went to at the Axis in high school (Laura). it's someone at school so it's not like it was someone walking around the streets of Prague, but it was still pretty funny.
