I was thinking, actually, that punctuation might be a bit beyond the rules-- you didn't say we could use it, nor did you use it in your example. But I knew I couldn't make anything worthwhile without punctuation's help, so I thought I'd try.

My fave ended-up being tedshroyer's latecomer because it reads so smoothly. (It also fit well with my mood when I first read it.)
