my bike had training wheels.. but they really don't help you learn to ride.. I mean they make you feel more secure? but you always end up in the ground when you loose your balance.
I learned fast because I was so afraid of falling off the bike more than anything else and yes I took great care into the not falling thing that I forgot about the cars. Parked cars were my biggest foes. Oh! and rocks too... I'm the only person I know that has crashed her bike against a big rock standing still in the middle of a big, empty road.
Thanx for sharing that with me. It feels good to know I'm not the only one who smashed into parked cars. It feels good somehow to read your comment. Oh, maybe I'm just melancholic. ^-^/
