Chidiock Tichborne
Chidiock Tichborne. Now that's a cool name. My first-born child shall be called Chidiock Pusrex Fancypants Wilson.
He also wrote a crappy poem and tried to assasinate Queen Elizabeth I. Not in that order though. He wrote the poem while locked up in the Tower of London. Then he got hung and disembowelled.

Clairalience
OK, so this one is a stub, but I just had to blog about it: Clairalience!
Literally meaning "clear-smelling", it is the smelly analogue of clairvoyance. That is, the ability to smell things which aren't there.
I think I'd prefer clairvoyance. Or clairaudience. I'm not sure if there are touchy and tasty analogues too. -
The Smith Mine Disaster
Now this is more like it... a big long article about something that actually happened, rather than some video game crap. The Smith Mine Disaster Apparently 74 people were killed in a mine explosion in Montana in 1943. Apparently there was a buildup of methane inside the mine. Light switches
OK, so I've been here for, like, three months, and I still haven't figured out how the light switches work. I realised this about five minutes ago when I flipped the lightswitch and my light didn't go off but my modem did. What the hell is the deal with that? -
